Switzerland no need of a helmet in the Threewheeler. Just what I wanted to read - thanks!

So with 2 months to go Mark, Roger and I have been looking at the route down to Grindelwald and suggest the following: Mon 28th – Calais to Troyes Given the distance the best option is to simply get there on the toll roads. Based on Google we are looking at 255 miles and 4 hours which, with breaks, should put us into Troyes around 17:00 – 18:00 The tolls are €33.40 As we are passing by a quick stop at the Reims circuit would be a good photo opportunity – adding about 15/20 mins driving. https://goo.gl/maps/5kLsqvZ1Xgy Tue 29th – Troyes – Belfort A non-highway route takes us about 165 miles and 4 hours. https://goo.gl/maps/ew1E6srhVoo Wed 30th – Belfort – Grindelwald It’s a scenic start then motorway 150 miles and 3hr 40 mins https://goo.gl/maps/r44KAPnaXdG2 We will need the Swiss Carnet which can be bought in advance from https://rail.myswitzerland.com/vignette.html?language=en It’s £32 with foc 1st class post. Let me know if anyone has any other suggestions. In the meantime I’ll sort out Garmin SatNav routes to circulate. Cheers Chris

We'll see you at the Tunnel on Monday morning, as we're only about an hour or so away and have other commitments on Sunday afternoon...
