Dash repair isn't disaster, just the heater control bust so nothing serious, except it's stuck on hot which probably explains why the soles of my shoes are melting.

Great day out today despite a very foggy and wet drive back from jurby via the mountain circuit. More fun planned for tomorrow!

The foggy mountain bit was rather interesting! Followed the tiny glimmer of Steves Healey's rear lights with no idea of where the road went...and a local boy racer up my backside 😳. What little I saw of the TT circuit made me respect them even more!

And in Bucks & the pub has a beer festival today to complement the steam rally yesterday.

Guys the weather on the IoM is very changeable I am sure you get to see the mountain sometime soon.

Manx kippers for breakfast today, during which the usual high octane, rock & roll banter ensued. Y'know, things like "I may put a jumper on today" That sot of thing..

On Peel harbor near the castle there is a food caravan that sells kipper baps. He also pickles queenies (scallops) which are wonderful.

I think I hit him on a slow day. It had been raining so whilst the kippers cooked for the bap he gave me samples of his wares.

all of it was stunning. the crab was great as were the pickled queenies.

A culinary delight.
