Morgan does it again: shooting oneself in the foot? Sigh, where have all the designers gone. All hail my 2012--with all its problems

In the words of the great Charlie Brown "Good Grief"! I remember when the MGB showed up in the US with rubber bumpers and raised ride height. That was, of course, a US mandated disaster and along with the emissions requirements effectively killed sales. When you add the US headlight position of the M3W to the rest of those changes, there is quite a bit take issue with. I am sure that the raised ride height will include more body roll and the rear turn signal stalks just beg to be bent, tweaking the body as they go. The M3W is not something bought for efficiency and road compliance. It may be a greener vehicle but at what price?

I am sure that the raised ride height will include more body roll and the rear turn signal stalks just beg to be bent, tweaking the body as they go. But look on the bright side; more body roll plus the extended lights should make cornering more like an old bike...that lovely grinding sound as your footpegs scrape through the apex...could be the mark of the hard driving post-2017 driver; scuffed undersides on the tail lights! Seriously these changes are not going to make it easier to sell it to people, just legal to sell it to them. Wonder how legal it will be to change anything back to the earlier, lower style?

Those rear lights are surely a hazard to pedestrians way out on those stalks!

Grinding the underside of the turn signals would open the door for yet another option for the M3W Morgan... A special case holding fresh underwear embossed with the company logo😳

Hi chaps, after a short period pondering, i have ordered vintage wing mirrors. They are better suited to the car. I really do not like the Ozzi ones.
I fully intend to change the rear light arms. Does anyone know the price of the standard light pods? I want the the lights rewiring, if the lights come on with the ignition, with a less than a healthy battery, i will never start.
The moustache has got to go. There are lots of options for replacement intakes and filters.
The forward headlights and mudguards i can live with. The benefit is that the indicators look like they are clear of the exhaust now. Might also need to change the header pipes as well.
I have ordered the stage 3 upgrade from my dealer, i will have to see if this is still viable.
My dealer is not sure if i will have to pay the price increase. Even though i place my deposit last October.
That is more annoying to me than the rest of the mods forced on Morgan by the EU.

If Morgan were to fit it with a chunky rear tyre, they might have accidentially created the most fun off roader on the market

Or as John Cleese quoted,"And now for something completely different". More campy British humor, this 3 wheeler!
