One thing I learned a few years ago about disappointments etc.
If you don't want to be disappointed, lower your expectations...
Just kidding, you should expect things to be done professionally from a manufacturer that been in business almost 110 years.

One other surprise - just confirmed tonight - perhaps some of you other new owners also have this "feature"? My headlight switch has 2 positions - on and off. Nothing in the middle for parking lights only, in spite of what the owners manual says... Dealer indicated that the last 4 they handled had this also, and was going to check with the factory on why/what is going on.

They're welded on the back of the bodywork lip and painted. Another 'one body fits all' item.

Mine are covered with something that looks like black cowhide patterned paper almost True. Maybe leather that I quoted was an overestimate :-)

My rear fog light was re purposes as a brake light so my fog light switch essentially does nothing. Maybe if I get ambitious, I set it up to run a set of drls.

Haven't bothered to chase this down to see if it is the manual but when the headlights lights are on and turn the vehicle off the front lights go off and the rear light stays on. It is wierd to me. I would much prefer they all go out.
