Hi - I am scuffing the edge of the trim by the door lock as I get in and out of the car - god knows how.
I am looking on line at the heart of england trim protectors which seem to push over the edge of the trim and the Morgan spares ones which look like they are hefty screw on stainless parts.
Which ones are best any views?

I have the former one's fitted on my Plus 8 from new and no signs of scuffing and they are barely noticeable in situ.

I had HOE on our first Morgan and went for the Morgan Spares ones for this car. I found the HOE ones needed very careful re-fitting (they were on the car when I got it) to look good. The heavier duty Morgan Spares items are more obvious when fitted but will not move. The downside of them is that you will end up with new holes in the leather - once they are fitted you are stuck with them.

The heart of england ones work really well and are very neat looking too. Well made and fitted like a glove.

I'm not sure about having to make more holes in the leather with the Morgan spares type but I suppose once they are on they will never come off. Tempted by the H of E ones due to their simplicity of fitting.
Got to do something as it's starting to look scruffy.

I have the HoE ones, as mentioned, BUT fitting took time and care.
The parts as supplied didn't perfectly fit the panel, so I spent about an hour "fettling" (subtle bending and re-profiling) so that there was a perfect conformity between the side panel and the protector and most importantly there is NO gap between metal and leather at the top.
After 2 years they have not moved and there has been no additional wear on the leather.
