Bonnet clearence may be an issue , probably best to get some measurements first or get a bonnet side scoop similar to others on here , the throttle bodies will certainly improve the x flow performance and sound !

When i was hillclimbing there was a chap who had fitted Mikuni carbs to his pre xflow , he had tilted the engine slightly to accommodate the carbs, i think some of his records up the hills still stand.

Lachlan. Have a look in kitcar websites and forums. Searches will find info. These sites are a decent source of info as is TM for Morgan. There are a lot of credible people out there building/modifying kitcars and this type of mod will be tried and tested.

The wing may be a problem as well, I had to get a let cut into mine to accommodate twin 40s.

Indeed. I have been looking into these websites in terms of fitment, and for the most part this appears pretty straight forward. The clearance is going to be the big issue.

If bonnet and wing clearance issues are a problem, it might be worth seeing if you can get a custom manifold made. If the one you have linked to is anything to go by then one could be fabricated with little bother.
My MoT tester has just gone to bike carbs on his Mk2 Escort, its absolutely transformed the car, plenty of power just where he wants it. Fuel economy is much improved too.

Hope this comes out ok. I'm on my phone on a ferry so it's a bit tricky!

I used a Bogg bros kit for my 4/4 Fiat 2L twincam. ( http://www.boggbros.co.uk) The bonnet had to be cut to take the Yamaha carbs, but I am very impressed and they sound lovely!! plus they do not need much attention once set up
