Quick question - does anyone know if a John Taylor cover can be adjusted to fit both a short and long door car?

I think the answer is yes. It fits the long door easily with material to spare.

Think about the longer cover too. It will cover the bonnet louvres to stop rain ingress.
I have both long and short.
Short for days out and long for weekends etc.

I found the long chaffed the body & headlight nascelles - so now go for short.

The factory cover with bonnet cover fixes to the bonnet catch pegs - not the head lights. Sing fit so doesn't move around. No signs of any chafing yet. The Morgan wings logo is peeling off though - too much hot weather in France in June. So far it is proving to be the best cover I have tried. Not cheap but discounted at last year's Mog event.

I am a happy user of the John Taylor long cover for some years now, the material felt better than the factory ones at the time. Also, the factory one did not allow for wind deflctors and you can order the John Taylor covers to allow for the deflectors.
Finally, I have found JT to be very responsive, a pleasure to deal with.
Using the cover during the last rainy weeks for a vacation in south of Egnland.
Cheers,
Bert
