Having recently moved to the West Coast of Cumbria can anyone recommend a service, repair and MOT garage.

Ditto Gordon only a tad lower down the coast from you! I guess there is Life's in Southport but a specialist more local would be handy. Anyone from Fellmog on here who may be able to help?

Guys,

I don't know if he is still doing much these days , or if he has retired, but Alan Dunn of Beckhouse Engineering at Embleton (near Cockermouth) is perhaps worth a call.

He is mainly into Frazer Nashes and other VSCC machinery, but has done a lot of work on Morgans in the past , both for me and others in the area, in the past.

I live in South Cumbria and have used Lifes and Macdonalds, now Beamish Morgan, over the past 15 years.
Journey time to both is similar from here though the route to Beamish is more enjoyable.
Have also used the Factory Service Department.
Andrew Hirst, ex jaguar technician and MSCC chairman is looking after a number of local Morgans in his (semi!) retirement. He lives just south of Kendal - contact details in back of Miscellany.

Thanks alb.....I think he must live fairly close to me. I'll track him down.

Looks like there are a few options in the area which is reassuring.
