Of course, I knew what it meant, ooo, but had to look it up just in case. To save others from being embarrassed it means: a biography that treats its subject with undue reverence. So true.

I just have to think how I drop it into casual conversation.

Well done Hamwich. cheers

I've never bought any of the commercially produced Morgan magazines as I always felt that the articles were something that Miscellany could/should have included. I consider this approach undermined the value of the club's magazine which is the main point of contact for many members.

The MG Owners Club, which is not a club but a business, pays for articles in its magazine and I don't see why MSCC shouldn't adopt this practice. The costs of doing so would, perhaps, be recovered by tempting back many of my Mog owning friends who feel that, if all they get from the club is the magazine, they might as well not bother. This has lead them to leave and I only stay out of (misplaced?) loyalty. I stopped contributing to Miscellany when the editor stopped returning the hard copy pictures I'd submitted for publication (at least two of which ended up on the front cover). I realise that the content can only be as good as the contributions but I have found the reviews and editorial content to be lackluster and nowhere near as interesting as the content of TM - but that's my opinion (and I'm a misery anyway).

Oh, and while I'm on, why don't we get regular and meaningful updates on what's going on at the factory in Miscellany? I've owned Morgans for 37 years but still want to now what's going on.

Rant ends here

I can't help but notice that Morgan mags don't attract advertisers from outside the niche Morgan community.

You'd have thought ours would be an attractive demographic.

Some advertising $$$ from outside our small community of dealers & parts suppliers might allow the publications to fund a wider variety of content.

A montage of images from the finishing bay each month would be very interesting, whether in Miscellany or in MogMag.
