Has anyone tried using the SANEF Liber T electronic payment tag on their Aero or Trad. Morgans heated windscreens. The SANEF blurb suggests it may not work, but they do save a lot of queuing hassle on motorways and other tolls going through France.

On the Mog we never actually fixed it to the screen, we just used it hand-held above the screen.
My tranny van has a heated screen and the autoroute blipper works just fine on it.
You can always pull the wotsit off it's mount and wave it above the screen or out the side if there's a problem.

Great idea, will let you know which way it works, safer if we can use it fixed as no doubt the likelihood of dropping and running over it would pretty high. That would be embarrassing.

Well ... just over two weeks to the 'Loire Trip' ... planning Belfast to Rosslaire, ferry to Roscoff, then to just north of Saint Navarre, then Saumur, Concremiers (staying at Chateau de Forges John), then Montblazon, Le Mans, Rennes area, then Perris Guirec for the last night before the ferry back.
Very excited. S1 has had service and check up all ready to go.
That's me up to just under 19500 miles ... from 12500 when I bought her at the beginning of July '16. I am using her almost every week and smiling :-)

Well ... just over two weeks to the 'Loire Trip' ... Fantastic and spectacular place and the food is wonderful. Expect to come back weighing at least 2 kilos more I have my tag on top of the sun visor and held in place by a velcro strap.

So it was easier and quicker to wave it about outside the car.

Very glad I've got one as getting out of the car at the tolls was an accident waiting to happen.

Incidentally, I think Dougie McLean wrote 'Caledonia' when he was on the beach at Perros-Guirec. Tennents used a 'Hibernia' version to sell the Irish lager at one stage, so you'll know what to hum on the way back to the ferry. I hitch hiked in the area many years ago, and the local folk were amazingly friendly. If you get the kindness that I experienced you'll have a great time. Safe journey, M
