Just arrived at Rothenburg ob der Tauber 4 days in on our tour to Grindelwald. Weather in Europe is just right Dry and 24 degrees.
Have fun at the RFTH and we will see you all in Grindelwald

Guys our route back - is a bit longer bringing us home on Saturday
If you want hotel details for Aachen on - Just Ask
Konstanz - Sunday
Freudenstadt - Monday
Bernkastle - Tuesday
Aachen - Wednesday
Leaven - Thursday
Bruges - Friday
Finchampstead - Saturday If you're headed form Bernkastle to Aachen on the Wed, I'm assuming you'll be heading up the B258 at some point. I'll keep an eye out for you guys as I'm touring the Eiffel region on the bikes with a friend that week and as we're staying not far form the 'ring we may well cross paths. Have a great trip all. I hope to be able to join you one year soon.

Indeed, I just need to get my backside into gear and buy one. If you see a couple of bikers waving and flashing their lights in that area, it's likely to be us.

I'm on my way...about to set off down to Newcastle for the Amsterdam ferry then on down to Grindelwald via the Black Forest and from Grindelwald after the Treffen on to Caramulo for the motor festival.
Car is all packed and one or two small jobs done; cleaned & waxed, cleaned and painted the rusty stonechips on front of chassis, oil and filter changed, bevel box oil changed, new cam belt, new Centa rollers, new back tyre (with an added round of measuring & marking for wheel alignment purposes, fire extinguisher fitted (for Caramulo, it's the rules!) Swiss motorway Vignette thing stuck to screen, holdall and tripod strapped to luggage rack, footwell full of camera gear, goggles and flying helmets (hot and cold weather to be catered for) plus of course a model Lotus Evora and a large talking Minion (there's a young nephew and niece to be catered for on the way in Holland)
