Minion safely delivered to 2 year old niece who is very much pleased with herself. Now sitting with ice cream and large amounts of cold water at the services South of Heidelberg. 35 degrees according to the thermometer. It's my first time on the German motorways and I am most impressed, definitely a bit of a fan auf die Autobahn.

It's my first time on the German motorways and I am most impressed, definitely a bit of a fan auf die Autobahn. I've not done much driving in Germany, but my limited experience is that German drivers seem considerate and lane discipline on the Autobahns excellent. I really don't think that no-speed-limit thing could ever work in France. It would be carnage.
