First one at 46 - an 18 year old 4/4 bought with a generous bonus when I worked for Siemens.
Man maths ruled - we had always done "sensible" things with our money which is how I ended up with AVCs in Equitable LIfe. This was a logical decision to "stuff it and enjoy the money".
Traded it in 10.5 years later for more than we paid for it - another boost for man maths.

I don't think you can ....I saw a very nice Supersport at RFTH's but you can't fold the roof down and so have to rely on air con....pity.And I think I can get more stuff on our boot rack and behind the seats than he can get in that triangle boot with small lid, no space behind his seats at all !

61 when I bought the M3W, 18/12 ago (one has to invest pension lump sums wisely). My mid life crisis was managed by building miniature traction engines over the last dozen years that have a 17mph top speed. Unfortunately, I couldn't make RFTH as it clashes with the Great Dorset Steam Fair:  My children and grand children are much relieved that I now have a Morgan (and soon to be a 4/4). Tim
