Please report back. As I said I am investigating this as well. I cannot fit a puller fan as I have virtually no space. (I have a TR3 motor in mine.)

My '54 DHC, even with an electric fan tended to overheat I fitted an expansion tank which increased the water capacity by 1 litre. problem completely solved.
