Great pictures of some very nice cars.

The Liberty guy had most of his facts correct, but who's to argue with him. At least is sounds like a Harley. Can't say much for the passenger's available seat width though. That was always an issue with the Liberty.

Thanks for posting.

Having read your excellent book Peter on the 3 wheeler, I don't think it was 'Sir' Charles that went over to see Pete Larsen's Liberty Ace

Wasn't it Steve Morris and Tim Witworth ?

From what I remember reading Charles was very resistant to developing the 3 wheeler and had to be persuaded by having it shipped over to Malvern

All the rest is accurate

Wonder if a thinner car + offset passenger seat would have fixed that? Of course would not be a "replica" but might have solved all the Bevel Box fun and games!

Great to see that Liberty.

And even more interesting to see the front suspension sitting so low with an inverted angle on the wishbones.

That Harley engine does sit nicely too.

Mmm a lot to like.

That's right, and even then he didn't drive it for several weeks. And then, of course, he became rather too enthusiastic...

I was also saddened by the reception Tony Divey received from Charles when he was invited by MMC to bring his Triking creation over from Norfolk in 2001, as reported in Peter's book. Apparently it was not driven or even unloaded from transporter.
