Gawd bless you guvnor, cockles and mussels, Buck House and zero secure garages close to my house.
Still trying to find one close by, but a question occurred to me. How feasible is it to think of parking a Morgan with an outdoor cover?

Well I park one of My Morgans under a cover. The difficulty is to find a cover that breathes, does not chafe the paint, and does not leak. Last year I used a big plastic tarp, loosely attached to the Morgan so air could get under and water could not. Downside was chafing the paint a bit. As the Morgan has a thick coating of "Clear Coat" I was able to repair the chafing. This year I bought a "Nylon Tarp" for $20US. Again loosely attached. I also put a light bulb in the cockpit to help drive out the moisture. Sort of works. Not good but What To Do?

Ours is parked on the drive under a fleece cover with a waterproof cover on top and we also have a bag for it to go into when the weather gets bad. The cover we got is from these https://www.autopyjama.com/permabag-engl/cars/ it is not the cheapest but seems very good, we are just about to go away for a month so just deciding weather to just leave the cover on it or put it in to its bag.

May be a good idea to check with your insurers as well. A couple of years ago, I contacted various insurers and not many were prepared to cover a relatively high value convertible parked on the street.

Arwyn Good point. My insurance stipulates that the car must be garaged between certain hours when parked at home.

London is full of soft tops parked in the street. Some of them worth more than a new plus 8 and way more than an.ols style rover engined one.Insurance may be expensive but it must be available

the question is simple in case of damage can you afford the cost if the insurance won't paid. it's simple as that
