Hi All
For sale is my 2016 Morgan 4/4. Its the one that has been given the moniker of 4/4 "Speedster" although this is not an official Morgan name. My understanding is that this was a new line that Morgan wanted to introduce as a stripped back car. 2 were made - mine and another grey car which is well documented on this forum. The grey car was turned into the first 80th anniversary car. Production of the model never came to fruition, leaving mine as totally unique - a one off.
Its the 1.6 ford engine, mazda gearbox car. Registered in April 2016 and as such has the balance of the manufacturers warranty.
The car has a full service history with the factory - having the 3 month initial service and recently its 12 month service carried out by them. The car currently has 591 miles on the clock and can genuinely be described "as new".
From the factory, the car came with ambla rather than leather - which I believe is used on boats as it is waterproof - as you can see from the photos looks pretty smart. It also only had one brooklands screen which seemed odd to me, so I had another added. I also added a stereo. This work was done by the supplying dealer (Oakmere).
A few months later I also had the factory fit an aero racing side exit sports exhaust - which sound lovely - not too loud or intrusive. I do however still have the standard rear exit exhaust should the new owner prefer it - which obviously is included.
Worth mentioning that the car has been garaged its whole life, only ever used in the dry and only ever washed by hand, by me. I have all the keys and documentation that came with the car when new and the service book is fully stamped up.
My reason for selling is simple - I love the car but it hardly gets used. My wife and I are expecting a baby in October and I suspect it's usage will dwindle even further. I'd like £34,000 for the car - you will be buying a unique piece of Morgan history which I believe may continue to appreciate in value. Thanks for reading.
