Have you seen the news today that Jaguar Land Rover have produced an electric E Type. I am so glad I was born when I was; i.e before non-alcoholic beer, quinoa, fat-free cheese and when "proper" E types were first launched.

Graham I'm not referring to the E Pace; they've actually produced an electric E Type!

I suppose "E" for "electric" makes sense. If it's a purpose-built proper designed-from-the-tyres-up-to-be-an-EV electric sports car that would be ok in my eyes. If it's a old E-Type body with an electric motor then probably no.

I don't suppose that they'll actually make any more of them (for now), but a great PR stunt to draw attention to their serious launch of electric vehicles.

Budster, I don't understand you, our age can't be that much different, and electric E types are nothing new. In fact I owned one many years ago. Loved to do power slides with it. Got to say I crashed often, and the car had a nasty tendecy to roll over. Been there, done that! Mine was a different colour, but in everything else pretty much equal
