As mentioned by Blackadder, I did take a few photos of Brooklands 21 modified exhaust, I am sure he will not mind me sharing them here. Some extra support for the front and rear of the system, hopefully it will be a bit more durable. It did sound nice! I live in a small village in Lincolnshire and we now have 2 M3W's here, the other being a Brooklands, with an standard looking exhaust, hence my interest in this one.

I can't claim to have got photos of everybody but here are some pics of the people in and out of cars. I haven't put names to the photos partly to protect the guilty but mainly because when it comes to faces and names I have a memory like a, like a round, mesh thing for straining things in the kitchen... In the beginning; Hanging around outside the toilets; Dr Livingstone? The first tour, Le Monsoon start; One mechanic with big spanner, one mechanic holding head, owner looking on... Rain? What rain? No such thing as bad weather... new regulator and it's alive! Comet Industrial strength tache wax required; Lunch Keep smiling... Last tour, leaving Grindlewald; All crossed up?

Wonderful photos Calum, that's a gift you have, they really capture the moment! planenut, I have PMed and exchanged emails with Brookland21 and he also sent me a few pics of his car's exhausts and the reinforcements he has made to them. I'm not in Lisbon now (that's where my own M3W is, soon to be fitted with the latest spec of Brooklands exhausts sent by the factory) and will only be back to Lisbon after Caramulo. But I will surely discuss Brookland21's reinforcements with the guys that have fitted a second flexy joint on an old set of cracked and mended exhausts, maybe this is something that could be tested over here too. So far, we have: a) the factory solution - a third mount, at the front of the silencer; b) the mariocp experiment - a second flexy joint, just in front of the silencer; c) Brookland21 experiment - reinforced connection between silencer and pipes (front and back) d) Brookland21 project - to shorten the tail pipe by some 10 cms. Not much but less wheight and length might be useful. I think one day we will get there, and the power of the Brooklands Edition will finally be unleashed!

Great photos, such a shame I couldn't make it this year. Good to read, that despite the weather, you wish you could have joined. Looking forward to welcome you again next year. 30-31August and 1 September 2018
