I haven't driven with a 13" steering wheel yet, but plan to order one. Do you guys have any experience? Does it harmonise well with the theewheeler, or might it be too small (and require to much power?)

When riding my Harley, I ride with the high beams on during the day. This is recommended by riding classes as well, at least around here it is.

Do most of you guys drive your M3W's with the high beams on during the sunlight hours?

I just upgraded my '09 Road Glide with LED lighting. They are VERY bright on highs and okay on lows. Prior to this I had H4 halogens and used a headlight modulator that modulated the low beams between full and 50% quite quickly, but not at strobe speeds. Headlight modulators and tail light modulators are US 50 state legal.

You cannot be the now lowering prices of the LED setups.

highbeam during daytime would be very unusual. And almost every driver on the other side would light-signal you.

Here the law demands "daytime light" or standard beam when the sun is up. Standard beam for the rest of the time.

High beam when you need, but only when not disturbing others. (outside of town, no oncoming traffic!)

I drive on low beam. High beam would be antisocial!
I see that LED headlights in the US have a no-kick low beam pattern whereas EU lights need a kick (LHD or RHS) to light the side of the road. Probably this increases the costs of LED lights!
