Hello this is my first post. I am looking to buy a Morgan. We want it to do some touring in the UK and Europe.
I have driven a plus 4 and liked it but just wondering about a V6 any thoughts anybody.

Try as many variations (and cars) as you can. The right one will choose you Get along to your local area meet and talk to owners - you'll get as many answers as owners, but it all adds to knowledge. By joining here you've made a good start, too. Welcome!

Welcome to the forum.
A lot depends on your driving style and how you will use the car. Our 4/4 suits us very well and provides sufficient performance to keep up with more powerful Morgans when touring through the Alps fully loaded but I have to change gear a lot more often than those in +4s and Roadsters which suits me and is a delight. It may not suit you.
Best thing is to go to a good dealer (Brands Hatch Morgans in your case I suspect) and drive one of each. After a few test drives, the right car will find you.

Thanks for the advice I am going to hire 4/4 from Brands Hatch for a weekend to try it out. As you say the right car will find me. I have a BMW in Spain that I exported there a few years ago it manages the mountains near my holiday home very well. Just feel it drives me I want something that I can drive and have some fun with. I have the time now I am retired. Jr

Hi Jr, welcome to the forum. Shame you can't make BHM on 23rd. Look out for the next, you won't be disappointed. Where in Kent? I am in Benenden. There are TM'ers all over the county.

The V6 is a fine Morgan but also be aware that there are three versions of the 3.0Litre engine, with two gearboxes, plus the 3.7 with a third gearbox. This makes them all different...........
