Having missed the revival this year due to elderly care issues in the family  I sat down having driven 250miles home to find the " goodwood revival on chanel 4 ( 8pm Thursday & Friday ) Brilliant way to chill out for an hour. I shall not miss tomorrows second part!  set your reminders. or catch it on the new fangled Web catch up thingy! Couple of years back, I even grew a moustache to enter into the spirit

Fell asleep just before the TVR article, woke up just before the reveal. Can't afford one anyway. Enjoyed the racing bits and seeing the P38 flying (brief though that was). Will seriously try to remain awake for tonight's programme  Cracking photo Steve!

I have watched them all so far and very entertaining but I wish they would not dumb down. For instance the start up procedure for the Rolls Silver Ghost. I would have preferred the talked steps instead of the crap music played ovef the voice.

I have been 9 times and evey year somehow there is something new to grab your attention.
Even with the inclement weather it just makes the racing so much more interesting.
Great atmosphere always...I envy those who have never been because the first timers head will burst with everything that is going on.
I was in the site at 7.30 every morning..the flying show starts at 8.00 am to wake up the campers..I usualy made it back to camp around 11.00pm.
After 3 days of this the legs really feel the strain!!
Everbody who loves the smell of petrol/methanol and aviation fuel should attend...it should be made law !!!

The above read like the words of a true enthusiast. In the same spirit a few of us here are talking about a central European Morgan/Goodwood adventure in 2018. So much fun is sure to get banned sooner or later so we figure we'd better do it while we can.
