On my motorbike yesterday for a run out around the Lakes as Nero is down in Worcestershire, but came across a rather nice 70th Anniversary 4/4 which I followed from Ambleside to Kendal. So pleasant following it I was happy not to blast past! White with white steel wheels and folding windscreen.....nice!

How are you finding the bike now?

My first longish trip in the Plus4. 500 km in total. Back to my roots to take my father for a ride.

LOVE that car.... (so does my father, although 83 year-olds get in less easy).

Radio better than expected. Useable till 120 km/h.
At the motorway earplugs from my motorcycle proved usefull. Wind buffeting got a bit tiresome after a while at 120-130 km/h (80 mph).

Still need to get used to all the positive attention these cars generate. Sometimes a bit embarrassing...

LOVE that car...

Sunshine all day predicted by the MetOffice app so a run in to work. An early dart for my first trip to Melvyn Rutter's wonderful emporium.

Yup. Just to the AV8 cafe at Kemble/Cotswold Airfield to meet up with friends. Then around the airfield (via public roads) to an event on the other side to watch one of those friends make a fool of himself in an Ariel Atom smile
Then back home again before the rain moves in...

A murky old morning in Gloucestershire today. It wasn't really raining when I left home, but that soon changed and I got my autumn reminder to do something about water leaking into the footwell.

I had great success earlier in the year, I stopped the leaks which came through the scuttle by using good old Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure, but it seems the effect is that the water now runs down the front of the firewall, collects on the top of the footwell bulkhead, and drips through onto my shins.

So now I can amuse myself by re-sealing all the holes, probably starting with the tool box.
