How does anyone get to the foot well so everything is clean and shiny? My arms are to short and the brush on the end of a vacuum is not doing the job. Any other suggestions?

Removing the panels above the pedals gives
access to the parts even a small child can’t reach.

I see ye olde dustbusters have gone LiIon powered and occasionally brushless motored. I have the old NiMH version of this and find it pretty nifty formfactor. The handheld Dysons might work too...

PS: with Dyson getting into EVs I wonder if that will mean self-vacuuming cars? or Morgan-Dysons in future? wink

From experience a Dyson handheld is the answer.
Most conventional vacuum cleaners are just too big and bulky.

The foot well of an Aero Plus 8 is even less harder to get into, thanks to the lower dash shin protection pads that curve down and under.

You can tell where a MTW has been driving, by the absence of dust left on the road smile
After a run I use an electric leaf blower to chase out 97% of the accumulated dust inside the cocpit. This also removes most of the accumulated grime behind the seats.(weapon of choice: Makita 36V)

Technique:
Open drivers door.
Lie on ground beside car.
Armed with nozzle of Henry Hoover, wriggle forward on stomach towards footwell.
Clean as required.
Reverse procedure.
Ensure Susie is within earshot, should recovery be needed.
Relax with a cuppa.
