For those of you that have the Chrome browser there is now an addon that defeats the Photobucket 3rd party embedded image problem. It is not a long term solution but may be useful if you need to view images which have not been moved from Photobucket (seems to work on all sites, forums etc). https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-embed-fix/naolkcpnnlofnnghnmfegnfnflicjjgj

I have downloaded this add-on to Chrome and then gone back into some of the posts from years ago and see that all the avatars are working and none of the Photobucket Blackmail Icons are present.
So, yes, it seems to work for now!

The only trouble is that a lot of people have closed their accounts and those photos have been deleted.
