I think you're probably right Wirewheel.

I have been stewing on this for some time but really object to way I and others were treated and I suspect there will be more to come out of this.

My car is running beautifully now and her photo adorns social media sights, Calenders and Magazines, long may that continue.

Thank you for the nudge Sir...

The new chassis finally arrived at the dealer yesterday. It took two months to the day from order to delivery. At this point, I have no idea when the work will start or when it will be done. The pessimist in me says I may get it back in time to lock it up for winter as the snow will be flying by then. The optimist in me has been pretty well strangled to death. There's always Spring!

Good luck Michael never give up the optimist - you're our role model 😜

By the way - M3W prices are set to go up - & obviously yours will come with a new chassis - fabulous a 2012, 13,14, 17 car.

Oh Zod. You had to go there. Role model schmoll model. Serious consideration in taking up recreational alcoholism as a hobby! For as much joy this car has offered it has also dished up much hair pulling and practice in creative swearing. Only a knowledge of more languages could improve what I am already capable of.

It is Fall and Vermont is a mad house. Roads are crowded with people who are lost and have no clue. The locals either leave town or stay home and drink...

Thanks Dan it's been a while since I've heard the late great Johnny Cash singing this but it's still a fantastic song and does typify the early M3Ws somewhat.

I love the bit where he goes to fit the transmission to the engine and notices that all the holes are gone - simply brilliant

Red Three had his rebuilt in 3 weeks twice at the factory. Mine took much longer. Getting any upgrades done like centa compensator? I just paid the parts.

True, I think I hit lucky with the timing both times that the chassis needed doing.

To all the good people at Morgan a heartfelt thank you! The chassis arrived and a slot was opened for it. I took delivery today after a test drive at Morgan Motors of New England. The car is solid. It is even quieter than before as the bevel box has the new mounting system. I hardly know it's there! We did replace the barrels in the Centa unit as it had over 15,000 miles on them but they still looked good. There were a few nit noy things to fix due to age. This car has seen miles!

There were times when I just wanted to cave and walk away from it. There were times when I just wanted them to fix it enough for sale so I could walk away from it. There were also times of unearned optimism where I just wanted to hang in there, tough it out and pay the bills so I could be on the road again with the usual wild eyed grin! I guess I know which one won out.

Again, a big thank you to all at Morgan Motors. This car was long out of warranty not only by time but by miles. It did not have to be done. But they did it none the less.

This means there will be more adventures and stupidities to share!
