I wish somebody would buy this car at Mike Duncan's as I keep looking at it !!!

This is my favourite colour in the Supersports edition and it looks a well cared for car..obviously a highly intelligent careful previous owner..I can tell by the Wolf performance decal.
I have every thing produced by Cain on my black 4/4.

Can anybody on TM furnish any further info on car?

Hopefully all ecu issues will have been sorted on this car and Mike comes with a good reputation.

Thanks in advance

Great car. I really wanted one when I ordered my Plus 4 but they would not do it in a left hand drive and they would not put the Mazda engine in a bespoke car frown
I think the power and the variable valve timing engine ideal for a plus 4.

Even if the ECU issue has not been sorted it should not be a problem to have it updated, but I am sure it would have been done.

I have the same exhaust system fitted by the factory but not the same ECU (I am able to work on the calibration myself).

I have replaced the catalytic converter with a larger 300 cell cat with good results. It worked fine without any real need for re-calibration but I got a good boost in torque and a slight reduction in sound, which is good for long distance touring.

I think if I was in the UK and liked the car I would have already signed the deal. Don't hesitate, grab it before someone else does drive

Can only agree with Peter.

In many ways the +4 best embodies the true spirit of the Morgan trad range (and this from a +8 owner!) and this particular iteration is perhaps one of the very best (if not the best) . My only minor dislike is the yellow lining to the cowl , but that is purely my preference. I would also replace the yellow number decals with white , but again rather a detail.

The ECU problems surfaced at a time when the first batch of cars came up to MoT time and caught MMC on the hop a bit. I gather there is now a fix available (from more than one source?) and I am sure that Mike will know just where to go if he hasn't done it already.

Thanks for input..

Also having the Easy Up hood which is great I would imagine the old style can be a pain.

I know a conversion can be done with people like Allon White for about £3-4000.

What do the jury think?

If you want a special Mog, go for her. She really has soul. Make an extended test drive because your 4/4 may feel even more nimble. On the other hand the P4SS has the best of both worlds, a good and solid body feel with cruising abilities and also curve willingness at the same time. The engine is awesome, regardless of TBs she pulls noticably from 2.500 rpm up and strongly up from around 3.500 rpm. I could write on and on about her. My RAF blue P4SS had done about 14.000 miles when I sold her, she was a LHD altered car. After learning that there was an ECU update available it could have happened that I would still own her.

But in addition after 2 years the TBs became too noisy for me when shattering at the eardrums, but this is a personal issue, and you will sit on the right side where the engine hood will act as a sound barrier between the TBs sharp and direct sound and your ears, which is a very positve thing in this case.

There was only one issue which happily does not belong to the core of the car: The wheels, I had dangerous abrasions inside the rim. This issue was fixed at the factory by making the suspension way a bit shorter using a rubber endpoint. And her Minilite wheels give her in my view a too heavy feel even if they are good looking. But you could easily change them. Funnily I was in 2012 thinking about exactly the same wheels as a replacement which MMC chosed years later by Imagewheels to fit the P4AR.

Anyway, Go for her and be proud to own something really special.

I was proud about the look of the old style everflex hood which in my view looks much more sporty than mohair. The handling is slower than an easy up but much more easy than I thought.

Yep that is a pain. I would just go at after dark and chisel away at the masonry on either side of the drive to give yourself more room.

Pity about the large yellow dots . You would tend to get hot hatches tailgating ?

Do it it is the price of a brand new 4/4 on offer on credit from MMC today plus or minus a couple of quid, have fun knowing you have bought a limited edition bit of history that goes like slippery off a shovel.

I love the old style hoods mine is a 10 stud version but if you want an easy up get it I don't believe it will effect the value.
