To balance my 4/4 where wheel I bought a kit named Cutteridge. It's expensive but is made very well. You can also find online other where wheel cone kit for the job. My wheel are perfectly balanced

Bike shop. They know how to treat wire wheels and tubes. My testimony is that even at 100mph there is no vibration or wobble coming off the fronts. The rest of the car however...
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I have a motorcycle wheel machine and would change the tires and then balance them on my motorcycle wheel balancer. I really thought I was being amazing cool being so self sufficient. I was caught away from all my tooling on this last set and had to use a local motorcycle shop. They used dyna beads in the tubes (about 3 ounces per side) and I am now a believer. I have balanced tires for years and this set of fronts are just about perfect. A virtually still steering wheel at speed is an amazing thing.

I had my Blockley tyres & tubes supplied fitted & conventionally balanced at local car tyre depot without problems.

This talk of balancing motorcycle wheels makes me want to go out and check my BMW! I would but it’s 3:30 am! 😟. I can’t recall any balance weights on any of my modern bikes but in the dim distant past I seem to recall being given some weights for an old airhead boxer.
3:30 am? Ah.......man flu and can’t sleep!
