Here is my car.

11600 km in 14 months. No problems with the hand brake.
I is not comparable with a 3.7 litres V6 but the rear suspension
is very much better than any other trad.It is possible to avoid the
pops and bang when you relieve slowly the accelerator.

"11600 km in 14 months."

Ah, that would be a tad over 7200 miles - good going. How many of those Kms would have been on track Thierry? I suspect your Cosworth engine is now putting out all of its' power mid range now or do you use the top end of the rev. range mainly?

0 km on track .Most on the time in town or on small
routes around Brussels.Occasionaly when the route is free
i am going to 7500 rnd/min .But only in 1st and in 2 nd.
I am glad with the torque in 3rd or in 4th.I have followed two
1 hour course in a fun cup at Spa Francorchamps but it is not enough to go with the arp4.

Thanks for the information Thierry. It confirms my feeling that after I have done around 6000miles (9650km) my engine is also feeling much stronger in the mid range power band, where previously it felt very flat. Interesting that you find your handbrake to be effective? One of my jobs this winter is to modify the lever arm of my handbrake to give some more leverage in the hope that it will help. I certainly cannot get anywhere near locking the rear wheels at the moment, even on gravel.

It looks like the advert has been pulled.

If it was an advert for the all black car with 900 miles showing, for sale at Melvyn Rutters, it was sold over the weekend, so I guess they would have removed the advert.

I believe that Williams have or had, a Proseco ARP4 for sale though.

Could you be looking for one Ken?

the handbrake is ok if i wait at a red light at the top of a slope
or in a queue at the exit of a tunnel. The car doesn't move.
It is not possible to lock the wheel when driving.

That was the main reason I bought one.
The ARP4 was an out and out racing car quite unsuitable for British roads.
I owned a +4 bought new in 2007 and was certainly a pleasant car to drive.
If you drove the ARP4 below 4000 rpm and lifted your foot off you got a very loud fart ( backfire) and below 4000 rpm there was a complete lack of torque so you were up and down the gearbox.
Perhaps some owners liked this, I certainly didn't.
I remember driving through Chard in slow traffic with a Police car behind me, the ARP4 continually backfiring. he overtook finally but gave me a scowl as he passed I think he must have been late for his tea break.
Morgan sold the car with a completely useless handbrake and even after the mod it still didn't work.
I could go on but the ARP4 had so many faults it's a disgrace that Morgan ever put it on the market.
One owner put his car through an MOT and it failed miserably with the defective handbreak.
I own a new Roadster 3.7 now and finely I have a car which is enjoyable to drive.

Endorse and agree with all of the above. Track car not touring car.
