Apparently it was one of the Rothscilds who wrote a gardening book that said " no matter how small your garden you should always put at least 8 acres down to trees"

I once saw an interview with the (very old) chairman of a Scotch Whisky distillery.
"You've reached a great age, what's your advice for responsible whisky drinking?" asked the interviewer.
"Never before breakfast, and never more than a bottle before lunch!" came the reply.
