Maybe im crazy, but.... reduce the HP, reduce the Torque, seems like a great plan to increase sales and boost the marque.
REALLY? Quite. I wonder how healthy the order book is for the Euro 4 model.

In my view all the Euro 4 bike rules do is to add cost without any real benefit to anyone.
But it should not be a surprise, they were developed by the same family of technical experts that produced the EU emission testing regulations for cars and we all know and respect their knowledge and understanding of the real world. Not.
Fortunately most of the rubbish can be reversed as mist if the changes are not included in the UK bike or car MOT.
I'm surprised that they didn't have to fit ABS, all Euro 4 bikes over 125cc must have it, perhaps as the M3W has 3 wheels this rule doesn't apply.

Perhaps they escape the ABS requirement in the same way the Trads do.....limited numbers of cars built.

Glad I didn't wait to buy one of these ugly things. All this should make the early cars more valuable soon.
Dolph I agree and these changes look dreadful. I wouldn't want one, especially knowing how they were before. But on the other hand, emissions are becoming more and more important. Could there come a day when our euro 3 cars become obsolete? From 2025 you won't be allowed to drive in Brussels with a petrol euro 3 (and the only Morgan dealer in Belgium is in Brussels). I know these LEZs are only in big cities at the moment, but how long before it spreads, and then what will we do? Put our cars in storage for 20 years until they can be registered as "real" classics? If you buy a normal modern car today it will be euro 6 already!

Arn't the Euro numbers out of phase with cars & bikes? Cars are currently Euro 6 which the 4 wheelers must be meeting. Bikes & M3W now need to be Euro 4 which as I understand it is not the same as Euro 4 for cars.

You're right, I didn't know that! I take back my comments in that case. These changes can only be good for existing owners, although I can't see them being good for Morgan...
