There s a simple advise: do not drive to or in Switzerland. The country is overpriced and you can get better food in Italy whereever you go.
But modern street robbery has become a common issue troughout Europe. They never put control units at dangerous road parts but on easy cash points. That's live.

I always drive extremely carefully in Switzerland as it's well known how expensive it can be to find oneself on the wrong side of the law.
I do sympathize Peter, as sometimes the posted limit seems to go up and down for no discernible reason; maybe the true purpose is to confuse unwitting motorists into contributing to the coffers.

Bad luck....I guess no points though as it's "overseas".
I agree sometimes it can be hard to track changes.
