It would be interesting to know if anyone on this forum has bought a Euro 4 M3W and had it reversed by MMC. Does the company offer an indemnity that can be waved at future buyers, DVLA etc; or some other assurance that the vehicle will pass muster with the powers that be?

I suppose if one were to have a new car modified to the old spec, but were to keep all the Euro 4 parts, then they could always be put back on later should it prove to be an issue, or indeed the parts could be supplied to any prospective purchaser with the car should you decide to sell.

So you have paid for the parts which MMC then remove and keep and they then charge you an extra £1600 for the parts needed for the reversion back to EU3 spec.
This must be some kind of a joke.

This must be some kind of a joke. Apparently the conversion costs more than £1,600 so you are paying for the work and exchange parts.

As far as I’m aware you don’t get the parts back, this is perhaps to keep the cost of the conversion down.😂😂😂😂

Maybe the removed parts go back to the production line to be fitted and then removed again by AR later? I didn't notice many M3Ws with large mudguards and Australian type air filters awaiting delivery when I was at Malvern recently. As mentioned, all factored in the conversion cost and not a paperwork exercise.
Steering arm changes to the front uprights are interesting with the increased ride height. A better mudguard stay mount and no bump steer issues this time. The ride height change may not be a bad thing once you get used to the look, less chance of bending the rear bodywork on a kerb or speed hump. Not sure what it will do for the handling though, maybe not much change for normal driving?
