Anyone got one of these - perhaps in a handbook that you could scan for me? I searched around on line and can find something up to 1973 and then from 1988 on but not one for mine.
The standard Lucas colours list does not seem to apply in all areas. Proving very slow going to do it by trial and error and new alternator, radiator and ignition system means I cannot just replace like with like.
Any help gratefully received.

I have a 1976 Plus Eight and cross-referenced the wiring diagram with Rover 3500 P6b and 3500 SD1. The wiring diagram and cable colours are reliably the same. Obviously discount things such as air con and electric windows, etc.

Yep, I got them but have found several big differences with mine. I bought a replacement harness but cannot make it seem to work with my rebuild. Have the lights and flashers working fine but no number plate light.
Can turn the engine over but not got the fuel pump working.
Wipers work fine regardless of whether the ignition is on or not etc etc etc.
It makes fitting the new alloy wings seem easy (though they were a struggle at the time.)
Several "mystery" wires come out of the loom in places where you wouldn't expect.
The car I was able to compare with had its ignition connections hidden in a great ball of insulation tape which neither I nor the owner were keen to dismantle.
Finally, the old ignition switch had four wires coming out and the new one has six.

Aren't Morgans great?
