Went to see Roy Wood on Friday night in Swansea Grand.
He ended with his Christmas song.
I wish it could be Christmas every day.
Enjoyed the gig. Audience joining in with the songs.

Steeleye Span Gaudete. Sing lustily and with good courage (which, incidentally, is the title of an album by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band). I find the best place to sing in this manner is in the privacy of a car.

The Pogues - Fairytale of New York
My good lady doesn't share the same enthusiasm for this timeless duet.
My younger daughter is definitely with your  on this one. When she was a student in Dublin she worked as a waitress at a place called Café en Seine. In the run up to Xmas there, the fairytale of New York was played about 4 times per hour; it drove her nuts.
