Last night I was in the middle of writing a long post about an idea that would have solved all the problems of the world economy, put an end to war, and guaranteed and long and healthy life for all Morgan owners when my tablet suddenly completely blocked.
When I restarted it and tried to log on to TM I received the following message:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /ubbthreads.php/forum_summary on this server.
Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe.
I then tried to log on using my phone and a PC. Same message on all so I gave up and went to bed.
This morning everything seemed to be working as normal. Did anyone else have this problem?
Unfortunately I lost the thread of my wonderful idea and so world saving will have to wait until another day.
PS. I was still getting it on my phone until I eliminated cache and cookies.

I had the same problem yesterday . Strangely this morning one tablet still has the forbidden message .

Try eliminating browsing history, cache and cookies.
Depends on the browser you use but there should be a way of doing this.

I've had the same problem today. On the computer and laptop. Now it seems OK.

Perhaps the htaccess file became corrupted or was deleted and the issue was corrected early this morning.
The htaccess (hypertext access) file is used, amongst other things, to control access to various files and directories on the server. You would not want, for example, an unauthorised user to be able to modify, or perform other operations to, files on the server.
