It's sad, but I'm sure there will be another Plus 8 with a different engine. Although a Ford V8 would be a safe guess, the wild option would be a Corvette engine, as per the "Plus 8 Plus" that Isis Imports has been offering for a decade.

Does it mean no final Aero GT will be launched? I thought the Aero GT gets the remaining engines, or is the Aero GT project canceled, or do they have 100 V8 engines in the shelve to make two different final editions?

The thing that surprises me a bit is that there does not seem to be a replacement planned for the Geneva show. The only "not-a-surprise" hinted at is the Aero GTs and Plus 8 50th anniversary cars.
I wonder when a new Aero will be announced, or for that matter even hinted?

Does anyone mind if they keep unearthing more V8's I think it's a good thing .. Just a reminder that all the speculation historically on here has proven to be wrong with the passage of time, so I'm happy to await the outcome in the fullness of time .

Rich , BMW have the new M5 v8 engine , twin turboed , why can't they stuff that in the Mog , its only 600bhp I know but it will do . I'll even trade mine in for one !
