And to think I get to see the first ever Morgan Plus 8 every day! As for miles on her, who knows? Broken odometer. The fun I've had in this car is incalcuable!

And the car is lucky to have such a great home. How about putting a picture of the car on your Morgans USA calendar next year?

The Pistonheads article says 8 Aero GTs and 50 Plus 8 50th. My bad - thanks for clarifying, I would edit my original post but the option has disappeared!

The fun I've had in this car is incalcuable! if you buy the last one I'm sure the factory would look after it for you so it was ready and waiting for you! To own the first and the last would be simply amazing....

I believe it's not quite as compact as a Chevy small block (up to 6.2 litre), interestingly enough.

Power not withstanding, what will they sound like?
I love that noise in the Aero when you slow down and the engine makes that burbling, (complaining?) sound when the revs drop off as though it's wanting to continue.
Think it's called over run.

https://gearheads.org/best-modern-v8-engines/A list of current v8's in production , Morgan Motor Co. take your pick , there has to be one there that will suit , we don't mind an electric motor switching on and off to make it a hybrid !

That Radical V8 sounds awesome...and compact. Most engines simply wouldn't fit without widening the front end & destroying the appearance. And an engine can't be any taller than the current BMW.

The M178 MB engine is pretty tight with the turbos in the V but the integration of the electronics and ECU stuff must be a BIG job.
I have seen the portable ECU they use to run the cars around at the factory and all of this would need to be sorted as well?
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
