Sorry for making you peeps wait, but as some of you may of known, I had too source another car due to the previous specialist ruining a very good/solid shell.

So here goes.

The basic is for this car to run in the CSCC Future Classic series.

We will be up against some stiff competition in our class, so this is going to a full major build to be able to compete and win against them.

I hope you enjoy the pics. I will do my best to keep this updated as quickly as possible.

Let the dismantle begin, plenty of pics being taken, along with plenty of bagging up & labelling.

So if my memory has not failed totally then the single lamps make it a 316 or possibly early 320carb ?

Lots of photos please.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I had a 1976 316 which I really should have looked after and kept. It was Jade green, still got a pair of front wings somewhere, a dashboard and the twin headlight grilles which I'd intended to fit but never got round to it.

Will follow the progress with interest!

Now the rear body work is being stripped out.

The engine going in,

A 2.3L - 6 cyl which is going to very special, we are looking at 50mm individual throttle bodies, custom built crank and roller valve train, high compression and a rev limit of 9750rpm!

Fab. And now for thread drift - can you recommend brake pads for the 4/4 sport and fit them next week?! I’m using the 4/4 sport competition for track days and road use and for the occasional race.

I can recommend a very good pad material, can you pop in this week?

I will look to see if I have a set in stock.

Now back to the thread!

I'm sure the badge on the boot lid say's 316. Or am I missing something here?

I guess it doesn't really matter what the original is given it will all be very special by the time it's finished.
