just remembered this.... https://youtu.be/J1YL_dp3UU0Spray on vinyl wrap. He goes on a bit but the results look good. Added advantage of being able to peel it off too. Not for the rad but maybe any panels.

Yes it was a paint designed to match the silky black anodised finish that most electronic heat sinks come in. It was sold by Radio Spares (RS). Quite a thin finish so it doesn't thermally insulate. Tried to find it on their website but not there now.
