Suitcase not waterproof - is a waterproof outer bag/sack available please?

Large binbag would be a temporary fix. Well strapped down to prevent flapping.
You could always try a getting someone to sew one up.....car roof maker for example.

Google Over Board. A range of waterproof holdalls.Tested by us to the limit in Scotland. Clothes in holdall stayed dry. Clothes we were wearing didn't.....

John Taylor made a water proof cover to fit my suitcase (just send him the size) when I purchased one of his cockpit covers. Very effective and not expensive. Stows away nicely.

Our solution over the last 12 years has been a rubber backed waterproof picnic rug.
Wrap the case in the picnic rug. Secure with gaffer tape, in the style of a wrapping a Christmas present.
Secure on the luggage rack with webbing straps.
Once at the hotel and off the car, the picnic rug can then be used for its intended purpose.

Uncle Melvyn made a bespoke cover for our antique leather suitcase from the same vinyl material as our hood. Looks really smart and totally waterproof.

Downside is that the suitcase is far to heavy to use and we're considering our options for the upcoming touring season.

Cheap solution in all sizes, if that's what is required.

Can get a lot in it and it can double up as a holdall, not had any water ingress even in torrential rain
