Thanks, Ken, Why not switch the rectifier on a 2017? Was it changed for 2017?

Thanks, Ken, Why not switch the rectifier on a 2017? Was it changed for 2017? Because the stick rectifier is fine. The older mounting system caused some issues. If it ain’t broke...

Duct tape Electrical tape Zip ties Loctite Pliers & wire strippers Imperial and metric Allen heads Imperial and metric socket set Screw driver with multi heads 1/2" open end and box end wrench (for exhaust manifold!) Oil filter and filter wrench (any auto parts will have the oil) Aerosol glass cleaner and cleaning rags (for windshield and debugging!)
AAA card! If you have to be flat-bedded be prepared to convince the people on the phone that, yes, this is a car and can be flat bedded. You'll have to show them how.
With a modern phone the list of Morgan dealers is at hand along with custom bike shops which is more important! They will have the parts on hand and can readily fix the tires, remount them and balance.
Mine is a 2012 and I have had to be flat bedded about 5 times. Rectifier failure, fuel pump failure, compensator failure, timing belt failure and rear tire flat.
If you insist on carrying a timing belt you will also need three 3/16" metal or wood dowels about two inches long in order to install a new belt.
I also agree that swapping out the headlights for LED's is a terrific idea! The stock lamps are crap. It will also give you more current to play with.
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

If you do take aerosol window cleaner, make sure it’s ammonia free because of the plastic windscreen. I buy Sprayway brand by the case. Same for helmet visitors. No ammonia!
