Yes, especially in the winter, the lanes round our way have generally got a fair amount of crud on them in bad weather. Wash the car, take it for a drive, and it will end up looking like this:

That picture was actually taken this time last year, Stewart. I washed, polished, and waxed the car, then took it for a quick spin on the way to my MOT test. This was what it looked like when I arrived, after about 12 miles on Gloucestershire back lanes.

What's wrong with a good old fashioned Chamois Leather and a bit of elbow grease.

The Morgan doesn't have that big a surface area after all and I bet it wouldn't take that much longer.

It’s not the surface area Bob, it’s a case of getting all of the water out of the nooks and crannies that are prone to corrosion, of which there are many on a Morgan, wing beading, runner board strips, badges etc..
