That indeed sounds serious and definitve. Makes me feel sad even if we don’t have met personally because you (and Graham, salty sea dog) at least in my view belong to the very inner core of this Forum. Sometimes time is a great healer and it should be worth to consider coming back and have fun with the majority and don‘t feel upset about a minority.

Indeed, very sorry to read you leave TM Jays! I liked you contributions as well as our PMs on tuning the 3.0 Roadster.

I am sorry to hear your comments Jay.
I have stayed out of this one as it screams minefield in the two dimensional world of the Internet.

My logic is simple.

I cannot see if you have a colour (white is also a colour, which I am)
I respect your choice of religion as long as you respect others.
I don't worry about which sex you are, I like great people.
I don't judge your standards and ability by your clothing, both men and women.

Most of these are good for work and home.

I do however consider if the clothing could leads others to reflect badly on someone in the workplace which I do have a right to do in a business. Outside of that I will be judged the same way by them and that's a stone I cannot afford throw?

Time to draw a line under this I think?

Who am I to decide?
Just me, no one of any import but when the forum starts to alienate people, maybe it is time to reflect?

I could be seen as totally out of order but hey ho!

I agree with Alistair in that forums are two dimensional. They also amplify opinions which in many cases would not emerge in a face to face conversation. TM is still the best and has an ignore button should the need arise.

Ah well that is at least one person who has not hit the ignore on me then, Thanks DaveW.

I've put my thoughts in the "Behind The Wheel" section in the hope that Simon and the Mods take a good long look at some of the discussions here.

This is my last post in any part of the Forum not directly to do with Morgan cars and their enjoyment.

There are other, better, places for the sort of debate that seems to be dominating this place.

I thought this Forum was for the enjoyment and improvement of Morgan Cars...I am not interested in the opinions of some people who seem to have too much time on their hands and seem to enjoy provoking other members!!!

Many Forums go this way..I left the Porsche owners club because a few self opinionated individuals treated the forum and club as their own personal fiefdom.

LET'S PRESERVE AND CHERISH THIS GREAT RESOURCE AND NOT ALIENATE NEW MORGAN OWNERS !!!!

Rant over now
