After the items I ordered today, you will be pleased to see this is certainly no thrown together build.

As we are aiming for such light weight, we have got Tillets latest carbon fibre seats, Lifelines latest Novec 1230 Gas fire extinguisher, plus more.

I popped into work today after been out for a meeting & a little parcel had been delivered. Inside the box were some of the new interior components.

Keeping weight to a minimum is the name of the game.

First off we have 2 sets of the newly released light weight Schroth racing 6 point harness.


Next up we have the latest in fire extinguisher technology. Novec 1230 gas is used instead of the water based foam used in the cheaper systems. Novec gas systems use a smaller bottle but are equivalent to a 4L bottle, so FIA approved.
This weighs in at only 2.5kg where as the foam which would need to be a 4L bottle for FIA approval which would in nearly 8kg.


The last toy to show you all is by Summit Technologies. This is a solid state digital control system.

I use their Raptor blue tooth steering wheel system on another race car, it works amazingly.
