I guess it will also help keep the water out as well!!
I get a water leak from that point, it is caused by spray from overtaking or oncoming traffic, especially HGVs on a fast A road, hitting the side of the car and getting in at the back of the door, puddling on the box section sill under the door.

Finally this week I made a start on the Plus 4 seals.

This time using aluminium as the base, as there is little space between the lock and the inner panel.

Starting with a paper template...............

I superglued the circular section of neoprene along the top edge of the aluminium. Fiddly and time consuming...........

Then superglued the neoprene sheet over the top. At this stage it isn't pretty.





Then add leather over the circular section from above, and another piece of leather over the flat section from below, both using aerosol adhesive, which works brilliantly.



Then cleaned up and slotted into place.........





These could be made commercially quite easily..........but not by me..........

If you perfectly seal your Morgan - how do yo get the water out after a rainy day?
