Hey, Ho! Another change of mind! I have now bought a 3.2 i6 Manual transmission DB7 Volante.

Quoted from Chiltern Aston

"Aston Martin built 2449 six-cylinder supercharged DB7 cars for the world throughout its production run and just 879 of these were Volante models in total. This number is then further reduced by LHD/RHD and manual/automatic.

It is believed that whilst nearly half of the Coupe cars built had manual transmission at circa 700 units for the world, as the Volante was available from launch with both transmissions being available, unlike the Coupe only about 10% of Volantes had three pedals."

This means there were about 88 DB7s to this spec.

Thank you all for your comments. She is with Chicane Classics just now getting a few things sorted. I'll also be putting Speedline Mistrals, a semi-wood steering wheel and a sports exhaust on her.

Graham, You are more than welcome to drop in for a cuppa and a (chocolate) biscuit if you do venture Northwards. PM me if you like.

BTW - I love the reg. number. You can't quite see it, it is P911 FKR. Outdoes Porsches?

Very nice Bob, and a great choice. I used to own a DB7 coupé and IMO was one of the best cars I have ever owned. I only sold it to fund a ski rental venture. ooo
