Due to the frosty mornings here in Devon, our local roads have been liberally salted.  So despite two lovely sunny days, the 4/4 has not been out of its garage .

Ditto. Though we did go down the drive & back for a basic wash to get rid of the worst of it after going to Daventry.

Victorian style and science at its best. You can also go up the road to the National Space Centre. Leicester, centre of the universe! Andy

Andy Our visit today started with coffee at the Space Centre - not my favourite museum - too many foamex panels to read and not enough in the way of real exhibits. If you can wangle a group visit to the Space Research Department at Leicester University that really is a good trip. I have been twice - once to the formal opening when a politician spoke for 20 minutes and said very little and was followed by Patrick Moore who spoke for 2 minutes and said a great deal. My second visit was with a business group around 6 years ago - we were blown away by some of the work they are doing there especially in X-Ray devices derived from some of the X-Ray telescope work they have done in the past.

So don't keep us northern hemisphere miserable cabin fever suffering members guessing. Where is it? I'm guessing Croatia or somewhere on the med. The young woman would not be wearing that jacket in the southern hemisphere. Signed, jealous.
