I do not like luggage on the rack. Can not see out of the rear view mirror. I use soft luggage in back of the seat and store the hood and side curtains on the rack. My Travelling Companion and I can do 5 weeks by using under wear that can be washed and dried over night at the Motel. Rain gear and warm jackets tucked in by the soft luggage. Passenger can store a large purse under Her legs by the seat. My Travelling Companion has 40 years and many, many Morgan Trips of experience. Also creative use of the engine compartment can yield a bit more. This takes thought.

For carrying sidescreens and either tonneau cover or roof?
Just a thought.
I suppose one could also rest on it when picnicking smile

Because a did ride bikes for many hundred thousends of km I still like luggage racks.

We often make trips from Hotel to hotel or in Norway from cabin to cabin and need some place for warm blankets or food and so on.

So we use -depending on the trip we plan- a Delsey suitcase in a waterproff cover or an ugly Alu box.
