Crickey 10 bob

Half a whole pound for a decent toy

I’ve just sold on eBay a Life Like Hobby kit of a musket in its box that I bought in about 1977 from Carters in Bradford (big toy and model shop on three floors)

It still had the original price sticker on - £2.74

I remember it costing me a small fortune having saved up for weeks

It was a huge life size long musket kit and probably one of the most expensive kits in the shop

I also have a large collection of Aurora Prehistoric Scene kits unmade in boxes which I keep meaning to sell - I think they were around under a pound in 1973

Stewart sore bloody point for years I had loads of Dinky and Corgi cars etc all in there boxes and kept them spotless even the boxes . As I got older they got put to the back of a walk in cupboard . When we moved my mother put the lot in the dustbins cars and boxes . I refused to speak to her for a while as she kept her tat . Hell knows what they would be worth now. banghead. Dave sure you are not Jewish you will have people thinking Yorkshire folk are tight. innocent

If you have an auto, can you order a driving shoe at half price? idea

Quite fancy some of these for the wheel paddles.

You Yorkshire Lads will be buying your petrol in lighter tubes if you can get it. No don't tell me you purchased the last lot in bulk so you could get a discount .

Soft leather feel more like slippers , you can fold them like a ball. Oddly they are the same colour as my jeans . Should get a better feel back through them .
